An international literary agency in Hamburg
After 25 years of passionate and successful work in Germany’s best publishing houses I decided to broaden my perspective of the industry: I founded the Günter Berg Literary Agency in Hamburg.
A lot of authors asked me to stay by their sides. This is primarily what inspired me to take over this new role – the very familiar connection to the author’s work, the writing.
Siegfried Lenz asked me to take care of his complete works as well as his foundation. Michail Gorbachev asked me to represent his new book internationally…
– No doubt: Authors and their texts are still the most important “material” in the publishing industry. And they deserve complete attention as well as the best possible support and encouragement.
